We’d like to invite boys interested in Scouts to Troop 449’s annual Jerky Smokeout on Sat., Dec. 3 from 3-5pm. Come learn about primitive cooking, and taste the deliciousness of dutch oven cobbler.

If so, we would love to welcome you as a Scout in our Troop!

Scouts BSA Troop 449 meets Tuesdays from 7:30pm-8:45pm on Tuesdays at New Hope Presbyterian Church, between Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, North Carolina.  In addition to weekly troop meetings, we have fun on monthly weekend trips (camping, backpacking, skiing, canoeing, and more) and spend a week at Scouting summer camp every year.

Troop 449 is currently an all-boy troop, but we are interested in adding a girls troop as well.  Contact Assistant Scoutmaster, Katie Kross, if you are a girl (or parent) interested in exploring this.
